Consent based

TIAA FDX API provides customer account details to fintechs with customer's consent. TIAA provides a secure API for fintechs to streamline the data retrieval process rather than relying on legacy screen scrapping approach.

Security standards

The TIAA FDX API utilizes OAuth 2.0 standards to generate access tokens for every consent issued by customers. Customers can revoke the consent, at will, on the MyTIAA application.
